Johannesburg, Gauteng: At an exclusive event that took place on 21 February 2020, SEACOM South Africa announced the winners of the SEACOM Partner Awards. These annual awards celebrate and recognise top SEACOM partners.

Turrito was awarded the “2020 Leading Partner by Volume”, the “2020 Leading Partner by Renewals”, and the “SEAview Beta Trial Winner” awards. Only five awards were announced, with Turrito scooping the majority. This is the second year in a row that Turrito has won “Leading Partner by Volume”.

Louis Jardim, Chief of Operations at Turrito, was thrilled with the awards and said of their SEACOM Partnership, “Turrito Networks has had the privilege of partnering with SEACOM Business since their inception. Their fibre products are exceptional and our clients are extremely happy with the performance and throughput of the Fibre. We also have enjoyed great uptime on SEACOM links, even though the country has experienced major load shedding, with minimal impact to our clients. From their sales engagement to project delivery, the support we receive is great.  Our partnership with SEACOM has grown from strength to strength, having won Partner of the Year in 2018 and 2019.”

Jayson Lloyd, Channel Manager at SEACOM, adds, “We recognise the critical role that our partners play in our success and we are particularly appreciative of the long-standing support of partners like Turrito whose products and skills complement our own. SEACOM is proud to have recognised Turrito’s excellence at our annual Partners Awards ceremony last Friday. As a Converged Communication provider, delivering MPLS networks, hosting facilities, internet and cloud computing services, Turrito excels at managed services and are dependent on the best, most robust connectivity.”

Colin Thornton, Managing Director of Turrito, was equally delighted and reflected on the recent accolades the business has received. “Turrito has achieved enormous industry recognition in the last two years alone, achieving awards such as Saicom Partner of the Year, Vodacom Fixed Partner of the Year, SEACOM leading partner of the Year (by both Volume and Renewals) and finalist at the Microsoft 2019 awards.  Our tremendous growth and these awards validate our customer-centric network and product approach. Turrito customers trust us to provide the right solutions for their businesses and the fact that we’re agnostic, with a huge focus on service delivery, resonates with them.”
